And yet it’s not just another Ukrainian exhibition. We want to give today’s war a human face and to tell the story of the Ukrainian people, to tell that they have what to lose - their rich culture and traditions - and that is the reason why they fight back devotedly and feel no self-pity.
All this we will explore in this exhibition features different mediums like painting, installation, photography, and linocut. We are excited to meet you all at Green Hill Gallery to have a great community evening with discussions, drinks, live music, and hugs!
Live musical accompaniment of the Vernissage: Ana Karina, a Ukrainian indie artist from Kyiv, Ukraine, recently based in Berlin. Anna Karina has been singing academic and pop vocals for 15 years, writing her songs for 5 years. Her music perfectly combines techno and indie style with Ukrainian folk motives.
