Internship Possibilities


Internships at Kulturschöpfer can be carried out under a wide variety of conditions, either as
voluntary or mandatory university internships. There are two types of Internships:


1. Part of our Training Program (more information below)
or
2. Independent Internship outside of the Training Program times


Through our internships, you gain experience in Gallery Management, Non-Profit Administration
and operations, Communications, Community Development, co-working management, and/or
Project/Event Management. If you are interested in an individual internship, please email
intern@kulturschoepfer.de with your resume and application letter that includes your preferred
timeframe and preferred areas of work at Kulturschöpfer.
(Please note
that due to a busy schedule, we are not always able to follow up directly with questions
about an individual internship and can only allow those internships, that are fitting in our
Training Program schedule and team availability.)

The Kulturschöpfer Training Program

For our next Training Program which will start in April 2024 we are searching for ca. three interns who will support us either in Social Media Communications, Gallery Management or Operations (support in Non-Profit Administration, CoWorking Management, and more).

Social Media and Communications Internship
- Develop marketing strategies and communication plans.
- Manage social media channels and create engaging content.
- Design website elements and write blog posts

Requirements
- Preferably experience with and confidently using social media programs
- Interest, joy, and motivation for creating social media and website contributions (posts, videos, texts, etc.)
- Independence, thoroughness, and a sense of responsibility
- Confident communication skills, both written and spoken, in English (German an advantage)

Kulturschöpfer Operations Internship:
- Support various areas like Administration, Co-working Space Management, Gallery Management, and Events
- Learn project planning and assist in community events.
- Support the Kulturschöpfer Team in different areas as needed

Requirements
- Interest, joy, and motivation to learn new things
- Organizational talent and passion for project planning
- Interest and preferably first experiences in (one of) our KS areas
- Independence, thoroughness, and sense of responsibility
- Confident communication skills in both written and spoken English (German an advantage)

Gallery Internship
• Support with the creation and planning of our next exhibitions
• Developing concept ideas for exhibitions and gallery side programming
• Reviewing artist applications and handling the online communication with artists
• Preparation of open calls and writing concept notes
• Support during gallery related events like vernissages or side programming
• Support during exhibition set up and curation process


Requirements
- Preferably experience with gallery management
- Interest, joy, and motivation for contemporary art and working together with artists
- Independence, thoroughness, and a sense of responsibility
- Confident communication skills, both written and spoken, in English (German an advan-
tage)

How will the training Program look like?
- 3 month internship, with the possibility of volunteer work afterward (ca. 2 months or more)
- Part-time (approx. 15-20 hours per week) in Berlin
- Detailed training and mentoring sessions
- Unpaid internship since we are a NGO which is dependent on donations
- A certificate upon completion
